JordanRunner
In 2018 Jordan discovered a love for running when his brother told him to get out and "run until it doesn't hurt anymore". His 2-year-old son had just defeated Cancer, but was left with life-altering special healthcare needs. Running indeed eased the pain, and Jordan found a new, unexpected purpose: supporting children's charities as a runner. In 2019 Jordan started building the foundation for Legs Mis based on his experiences running for St Jude and Autism Speaks. Then, in June 2020, Jordan led the effort to officially establish Legs Mis as a new nonprofit, and now serves as President and Treasurer on the Board of Directors.
Runcast #2: Legs Mis 2.0
On my family’s beach trip in August, I took the opportunity to make another runcast. I saw it as a chance to fix some of the things that didn’t go so well with the first one. I actually decided to walk, so my heavy breathing wasn’t a distraction, and I cut the length down considerably….
Varsity Football With Asthma
I recently came across my college admissions essay, and realized it might fit into some space here on the Legs Mis site. Perhaps kick off a campaign for asthma, and for pulmonary conditions in general. Anyways, it is so easy to share on this website, I decided to go ahead and post it as is,…
Journal Preview
I’m a hardcore data nerd. And I love spreadsheets. I use them for just about everything, including my running journal (which has expanded to include cycling as well). Tracking my successes and failures has helped to keep me motivated. I know that this is true for many others, which is why tracking apps (like Strava…
