DS3’s cancer is still in remission and its long-term effects are becoming more manageable. Our big family trip to Disney World is looking more and more certain. This week, I bought my first discounted Disney Gift cards to buy park tickets and dining. I spent about $2650 for $3000 of gift cards (12% savings). One of the many “tricks” I’ve learned by listening to Backside of Magic and reading the TouringPlan forums.

In running-related news, last week I ran a 10k with a time goal of 60 minutes. I finished in 63 ☹. I guess it was “Too Hot to Handle”. In any case, I need to step up my training somehow if I’m going to run a marathon in January.
