1. Alex: review previous meeting’s minutes
2. Jordan: corporate status

New Business (30 min)

Note: chose to postpone votes to next meetings

1. Propose & Vote: meet first Monday of each month
2. Propose & Vote: next annual meeting to be Jan 2021, will elect next three board members
3. Propose & Vote: minutes to be distributed Friday following meetings, and shared online
4. Propose & Vote: recorded meetings, or “public” portions of them, to be shared online
5. Propose & Vote: “timeline” for going public
   • September: share website with family and close friends, individually as time allows
   • October: broader personal networks (social media, co-workers, other orgs)
   • January: completely public (local charities, sports retail, Facebook ads, HOA newsletters, school sports programs, etc.

Assignment of Tasks (5 min)

Everyone

• write an article for the website; can be personal, something that fits into an existing topic on the website, or something else, discuss ideas with other board members; min ~500 words
• write short (100-200 word) pitch for Legs Mis to share with your social networks
• brainstorm FAQs for website
• brainstorm revenue ideas and potential corporate sponsors
• identify potential board members or “advisors”, we need experienced help with legal and accounting aspects of 501(c)3

• continue building website and social media
• maintain accurate expense and revenue records
• finalize 1-3 year financial plan

• bio for website
• research options for D&O Insurance

Alex

• meeting minutes
• photo for website
• learn WordPress, Mailchimp, and Discourse backends (once Jordan is finished with each)
